All investor funds are held in a designated Kilde Client Monies safeguarding account at DBS Bank in Singapore. This account is strictly segregated from Kilde’s own operational accounts at all times in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, ensuring your capital remains protected.

Kilde does not have direct access to investor monies. All transfers, including withdrawals, must be initiated by the investor through the platform and are subject to established verification and control procedures. No Kilde employee is authorised to unilaterally transfer or withdraw client funds.

Even in the unlikely event of Kilde ceasing operations, your funds remain protected in this segregated account, providing you with continuous peace of mind. We maintain robust internal controls and oversight processes to safeguard the accuracy, security, and integrity of all fund movements.

DBS Bank, one of Asia's leading financial institutions, securely holds customer funds. As a funds custodian, they ensure that your investments are protected with a robust financial foundation and a reputation for trustworthiness.

Thanks to online integration with DBS Bank, your funds become available on the Kilde platform as soon as they arrive at DBS Bank account.

Your money is held separately in a safeguarding account.

We use the Client Monies safeguarding account at DBS Bank Singapore to keep investor funds strictly separated from our operational funds. To ensure security, all transfers must be initiated by the customer on the platform. We also employ a horizontal segregation of duties, meaning no Kilde employee can initiate a withdrawal or transfer of your funds.

Investments are secured by collateral.

Our private credit bonds are secured by cash-generating collateral through pledged receivables. This means that your investments are secured  by cash-generating assets, specifically consumer and small business loan pools. The collateral ensures reliable income stream and liquidation value of your investments, significantly reducing risks.

Our interests are aligned with yours

Investment platforms and brokers earn revenue from commissions. For an investor like you, selecting a private market investment platform with a consistent quality of deals is essential. Our shareholders invest to every deal offered on the platform on the same terms as you do. Additionally, the institutional investors who use our platform, also invest to the exactly same deal on the same terms.

We make private markets transparent

Private markets are chronically opaque. We beg to differ. For every deal, we publish a detailed information memorandum and slide deck that contains audited financial statements of our borrowers alongside our financial analysis (credit scoring). We want to give you enough information to make a qualified decision on investment. Every quarter we check proforma financial statements on borrower’s adherence to the agreed covenants (criteria to maintain our investment).

Your data are in Google Cloud in Singapore

Data is protected by a secure server infrastructure we built and actively manage. Our site is hosted on Google Cloud Services, monitored 24/7, and guarded by an additional layer of defence against outside threats.

Intrusion detection systems and comprehensive security measures are in place to safeguard your data. We are also backing up all important data to another big cloud provider as an additional business continuity measure.

Our front door is locked

Our platform utilises two-factor authentication (2FA) to provide an extra layer of security for our clients . 2FA offers multiple methods to verify it is you who is logging in ensuring only you can access your account.

Firstly, every fund withdrawal is manually verified by a trustee, preventing unauthorised withdrawals. Secondly, we allow withdrawal only to the registered bank account in the investor’s name. In the unlikely event of a security incident, our team is available to provide immediate assistance, ensuring your investments are secure at all times. We work swiftly to resolve any issues and ensure that your investments remain secure.
