Why did we make an investment comparison site?

Comparing available investment offerings is challenging

Finding a suitable investment can be tricky. Investments are often presented confusingly and are compared despite their different nature. In most markets, there are investment comparison sites helping investors to navigate ample offerings. To our surprise, we have not found such a site available to investors from Singapore. Fortunately, at Kilde, we regularly research available investment offerings. When we have done this work for ourselves, why not share it with you?

We have collated information on income investments from the major investment platforms in Singapore, carefully distinguishing between annual returns, fees and average deductions caused by borrowers’ delinquencies or other factors.

What are the standard fees charged to the investors?

Interestingly enough, the platforms use several models to charge fees to investors:

  • ETF (exchange-traded fund) platforms take a % charge on the outstanding invested balance. The more funds are invested, the lesser the nominal value of the % charge. Those fees start at 0.2% per year and reach up to 0.8% per year.
  • Platforms offering shares in specialized funds (not ETFs), tokenized for greater accessibility, charge one-time subscription fees between 1% and 5%. Annual charges by the fund managers are added to the bill as well.
  • Platforms dealing in less common investments like SME debt, charge % from earnings made by the investor. Fees on earnings range between 15% and 20% of the earnings.

At Kilde our fee model with a 0.5% fee on the outstanding balance per year is close to the ETF distribution model.

Check our interactive comparison tool

The interactive comparison tool shows declared returns, fees, and minimum investment. When you click on each card, you will see details of the investment product. We will continue to work on the tool adding new investments and providers. Feel free to reach out with your suggestions, comments and questions.

Kilde is a regulated investment platform for alternatives. We operate as a two-sided platform connecting institutions / HNWI with securitised private investments. Our main alternative asset classes are private debt, venture debt, and recurring revenue financing. Kilde has partnered with leading non-banking consumer & SME lending firms to give investors safe and controlled access to consumer lending assets. Our unfair advantage is vast accumulated data on consumer & SME assets performance as well as scalable investment and securitisation tech platform. Thanks to Kilde’s license for dealing in securities, we securitize alternative investments into digital securities.
